Helping Dad!
Soccer party! The season is winding down. It has been a great year for Jens and Sylvie both.
Mike took the kids to see Big Hero 6.
Trying to get a picture of Cora's adorable outfit, one that Loren got for Abbie when he was on his mission in Lithuania. She was being uncharacteristically shy.
Still loves to color . . .
Selfies with Dad!
I am the new Bear Den Leader. Jens was pretty excited to have scouts at our house, and we had a good time. It has its challenges (paperwork and tracking--argh!) but the time with the kids is pretty fun.
Jens got a long overdue haircut. The girls came along and were pretty good, until Cora got comfortable and started running all over the place. Jens seemed so grown up, sitting in the chair chatting it up with Kristen. He was really cute, and the haircut turned out great.Sometimes playing the piano is a whole family affair.
We tried to take family pictures for our Christmas card. Our friend Natalie was VERY patient! Our kids not so much. Cora was a serious wiggle worm and Jens, well, we figured out later that he was wearing two different shoes. Oh well.
This is kind of what it was like.
We went to dinner afterwords with JP and Natalie and happened to meet up with the Littles as well. Cora loved the black beans at Costa Vida!
We were ready for church early. What?Lets pretend Cora is smiling instead of grimacing in this picture. We made a thankful tree for fhe. The kids had no trouble thinking up tons of things to write down, which I am thankful for!
As it is MOvember, this unfortunate look has returned. I found this selfie on my phone.
She has a sense of style!
Jens was briefly obsessed with a hideout he and a friend "discovered" at the park. He wanted to go back to play every day. We went as often as possible!
Cora has a new favorite blanket. Of course, it is a one of a kind. Hope we don't lose it!
The piano in front is useful for more than just playing! It is great to keep stuffed animals on.
Sylvie's end of the year soccer party. We had a great year and a great team, thanks to our great coach!
Dressed up as the "real" Elsa.
I told them they couldn't have a sleepover, so this happened instead.
Last soccer game of the season! The Red Ninjas won, ending the season undefeated. Go Ninjas!
Jens made homemade eggrolls. They were delicious!
Burrito kids!
Hiking with the scouts. We didn't go very far, but they had a good time!
She is getting so tall!
Feeding herself! It is messy, but she is getting better at it. If only she would stop flipping the spoon upside down when she puts it in her mouth . . .
Milk and cookies like a big girl.
You just have to smile sometimes.
I was washing her pink blanket and she knew it was in the washer. She was very determined to climb in and get it!.
