End of June

Summer is flying past.  We have been busy!  The kids have had fun playing, swimming, and relaxing.  Jens is also continuing to make surprise "photo essays" for me.  Here is his latest:

Cannon Ball!

 One day we went to Folsom Lake with a bunch of our friends.  It was beautiful weather and uncrowded.  The kids had so much fun; I think they would have stayed forever. After 5 hours I had to make them leave because I was worried we were all getting fried.

 More fun with Colby and Nathanael.  We are going to miss Nathanael when he moves away!

Another favorite thing this summer has been "crinkly" hair.  Sylvie wants her hair braided in lots of braids and the next day, voila!
 

We also went blueberry picking again.  The berries were huge!  That is a quarter, for reference.  They were also delicious.
